Hostinger Email Setup: Webmail, Outlook, Gmail and Phone
Create the mailbox in hPanel under Emails, then log in to webmail at mail.hostinger.com. To use Outlook, the Gmail app or a phone, add the account with IMAP server imap.hostinger.com (port 993, SSL) and SMTP server smtp.hostinger.com (port 465, SSL), using your full email address and password. Create your mailbox in hPanel
First, the email account itself.
You'll need: Hostinger account with an email plan · Your domain
Open Emails in hPanel
Log in to Hostinger, open Emails and select your domain.
Check the domain is connected
hPanel shows whether MX records point to Hostinger. If the domain is registered elsewhere, add the MX and TXT records shown, or use Hostinger nameservers.
Create the account
Click create email account, choose a name like

Logging in to Hostinger webmail
Go to mail.hostinger.com and sign in with the full email address and its password — not your Hostinger account password. You can also open webmail from hPanel. Webmail works from any browser and needs no setup, which makes it useful for checking mail from a shared computer.

Use IMAP so mail stays in sync between your phone, laptop and webmail. POP3 downloads mail to one device and can make it disappear from others.
Add Hostinger email to Outlook
- In Outlook, choose to add an account and enter your full Hostinger email address.
- Choose advanced or manual setup and pick IMAP.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing servers and ports from the table above, with SSL/TLS.
- Enter the mailbox password and finish. Send yourself a test email both ways.
Use it in the Gmail app, iPhone or Android
Gmail app (Android or iPhone): Settings → Add account → Other → enter the email address → choose Personal (IMAP) → enter the password and the server settings above.
iPhone Mail: Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account, then choose IMAP and enter the servers.
Note that adding your business mailbox to the Gmail app is different from moving to Google Workspace: your email still lives on Hostinger, the app is just a window into it.
DNS records that make email work
- MX records tell the world to deliver your mail to Hostinger.
- SPF (TXT) lists the servers allowed to send as your domain.
- DKIM (TXT/CNAME) signs your messages so they are trusted.
- DMARC (TXT) tells receivers what to do with mail that fails checks.
